"Letters I Can't Send" is a short film and music video that I directed and shot, set to the song I'm God by Clams Casino featuring Imogen Heap. The film explores the experience of recurring analepsis—flashbacks to past relationships—depicted through a dream-like narrative. It features performances by my friends Zenya, Chechi, and Dollie. The entire film was shot on an iPhone 13, with a few footage generated using Runway AI.
The version of the short film uploaded to YouTube only shows the center panel due to upload limitations and platform specs. However, the original piece was designed as a three-wall immersive installation, with three synchronized perspectives of the same scene playing simultaneously across the room. This setup was intended to create a fully immersive experience for the audience. The original version of the short film, as presented in the real-time exhibition, is shown below:
